Passionate about building an emotionally intelligent world.

About

Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand, manage, and express your emotions while recognizing and constructively responding to the feelings of others.

It’s essential for personal growth, strong relationships, and career success, enhancing communication, decision-making, collaboration, and leadership impact.

And we are dedicated to helping as many people achieve it through courses, webinars, workshops, community, and guides.

We are a learning platform that scales emotional intelligence education to both individuals and businesses, combining the accessibility of digital learning with the impact of workplace training.

While most EQ trainings focus solely on behavioral science to guide their practices, FlourishEQ draws insights from both ancient and modern philosophical traditions and combines them with innovative empirical research to offer wisdom and data that inspire and add value to individuals and organizations.

Myisha Cherry started FlourishEQ because she saw a gap between knowing about emotions and actually using them to transform our lives and work. As a philosopher, author, and educator, she spent years exploring how emotions shape our decisions, our relationships, and our potential. She saw talented people—leaders, teams, and individuals—struggle not because they lacked knowledge, but because they lacked the emotional tools to navigate challenges, inspire trust, and thrive.

Myisha created FlourishEQ to close that gap.

Unlike large-scale programs that can feel impersonal or overly formal, Flourish EQ is intentionally designed to be accessible and relatable for both the young and the seasoned, across diverse cultural experiences.

Our approach is informed by real life, not just boardrooms, and while we take growth seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. That means you’ll find practical wisdom, cultural nuance, and a welcoming tone that makes emotional intelligence something you actually want to practice.

Our mission is to make emotional intelligence practical, actionable, and accessible so anyone, anywhere, can grow, lead, and thrive.
